Ray and Dr. Robbins find something unusual in a body, which will begin an investigation into the disturbing work of "Dr. Jekyll".

The incarcerated man demands to be released, claiming that someone else with identical blood killed his wife, but Ray believes the prisoner may have had the blood planted at the scene to try to gain his freedom.

In part one of this two-part seventh season opener Grissom and Catherine handle the case of a woman's dead body found at Cirque du Soleil by a performer. Meanwhile, an investor at one of Sam Braun's new casinos is shot to death during a party on the rooftop. Catherine's life is in jeopardy after visiting a nightclub with Nick. Grissom finds a miniature replica of a crime scene that he is investigating.

In the second part of this two-parter Grissom investigates the murder of an aging rockstar who is found dead in his kitchen with an exact replica of the crime scene on the counter next to him. Meanwhile, Catherine probes her own abduction and learns that someone may be targeting her family.
Coming straight from the perspectives of five people: Donna, Rebecca, Jack, Lou and Ray. All with one thing in common. They're all dead. Brass and Catherine get to handle the case of Donna, who's a cop from San Francisco, moonlighting as a bodyguard. Warrick and Greg work the case of Rebecca, who's a former supermodel who died while hiking with her new husband Gavin. Nick and Sofia handle the case of Jack, a returning veteran from Iraq, who was killed in front of his wife and baby daughter who he just met for the first time. Grissom and Sara take the case of Lou and Ray whose bodies were found in Lou's garage.
Three tourists are beat up, badly. One is dead, Alfonzo. Jessica is badly beaten but is still alive. Stanley, the last tourist is saved by Greg who ends up severely hurt in turn and ends up hospitalized after having to make a life altering decision.
Grissom and Sara may be secret lovers, but they still find ways to surprise each other like when their religious beliefs surface when two nuns find a body of a woman crucified on a makeshift cross. The woman was found in a church where the priest may be a man of sin instead of a man of God.
Grissom attempts to get a confession from a neighborhood pedophile by having him help in locating two missing boys. The sex offender is the main suspect. The investigation is more complex than the team ever thought it would be.
While investigating an elderly woman's murder, Grissom receives a miniature crime scene replica; Greg attends a hearing to ascertain his culpability in a teenager's accidental death.
Identical twins are found murdered on the same night. The CSI's investigate the two separate murders only to find a twist in the investigation that leads them in another new direction.
The Cadillac of an infamous 1970's mob boss turns up in a lake, even though he disappeared years ago. A photo of current murder victims also turns up in the car, so the team must determine whether this current murder spree is related to the missing gangster.
Grissom investigates when a worker at a poultry processing plant is found dead in a stun bath used to electrocute chickens before they are slaughtered. Nearby, a miniature replica of the crime scene is discovered. It's eerily similar to two other replicas left at scenes of homicides. Also, a man and a dead woman are found stuck in cement at a construction site; and an elderly Russian woman is discovered dead in her apartment with her head in a gas stove, but Warrick thinks she was murdered.
Leaving Las Vegas+
Catherine testifies in a murder trial in which a man is accused of murdering his own mother three years ago, but the suspect is found not guilty. Catherine, however, believes he did commit the crime and that he may also have killed two other people, so she sets out to find the other victims. Grissom prepares to leave on a four-week sabbatical.
The team has a hard time trying to understand Michael Keppler, who has become a team member since Grissom's teaching hiatus. They investigate the murder of an unidentified girl who may have been killed by a serial killer who has been killing since the early 1970's.
Keppler persuades Catherine to help him fake a crime scene and deceive their colleagues in a controversial plan to catch the west coast's biggest illegal drug supplier, who is the leading suspect in the murder of an anti-drug assemblyman who was gunned down in the desert. Keppler concocts the plan when the suspect disappears and his trail grows cold after several weeks.
Nick and Keppler investigate the bizarre world of the black market sales of body parts after they find a body that has been burned and the organs removed. The rest of the CSI team investigates the death of rich woman who was killed in her own home.
Law Of Gravity+
Grissom returns from his sabbatical; Keppler is put into a compromising position when the bodies of a Trenton police officer and a hooker are found in a hotel room. The man who found them is a retired New Jersey cop and close friend to Keppler, who doesn't reveal their relationship.
Monster In The Box+
Once he unseals a package sent to him through the mail, Grissom is floored when he finds a miniature crime scene inside. The finding is entirely more perplexing since the successive killer accountable for earlier related miniature crimes is now deceased. Grissom vows to examine the miniature and discover the actual location, when the investigation makes it clear the murder showed has yet to happen, but is probably going to happen soon.
Grissom and his team are discouraged when they find a pool of blood as they begin investigating the disappearance of a high school basketball star and his cheerleader girlfriend.Grissom's quip that the young lovers may have run off to Mexico is soon quashed by the discovery of drops of blood by Ryan's vacant parking spot at the school. After finding a letterman jacket and cheerleading sweater in the field house and a pool of Ryan's blood nearby, the team tries to determine what went awry.
The terrified eyes and cryptic words of a murder victim haunt Sara while she processes the house where several showgirls were killed.
After a man is killed in his limousine, Greg finds that the murder victim has ties to the man he had to kill in self-defense. The team finds that the brother is involved in this investigation and has to deal with him and his hostile mother.
Hodges convinces fellow lab rats Archie, Henry, Mandy and Wendy that Grissom wants them to secretly investigate the so-called miniature murders while the CSIs are in the field probing other crimes.
When a has-been boxer is killed, the CSIs must establish which of several life-threatening acts actually killed him.

Grissom has to work with Dayshift CSI Sofia Curtis when a high school student is found dead in a hotel room after a party. Assisted by Catherine, Nick and Warrick, they find out that another girl had been kidnapped from the party. However, the father of this girl doesn't seem overly concerned about his daughter's disappearance.

It's a busy night in the lab as the CSIs investigate four cases: A hit and run involving a stolen Hummer, the murder of a Convention Girl, the death of a body builder and the death of a boy found on a bench.
Captain Jim Brass travels to LA after Ellie asks for a favor in investigating her friend's disappearance. There, with the help of Warrick, who is in LA for a conference and a friend in LAPD, Brass finds his investigation interrupted by higher powers. While he and Warrick are ultimately able to find Ellie's friend's murderer, Brass is unable to bring the perpetrator to trial. Disappointed, he leaves LA and returns to Las Vegas.
Sara accompanies Grissom to a mental hospital where one of its inmates has been murdered inside his room. Interviewing patients prove to be harder than usual as most of them are mentally unstable. While the two CSIs are there, they uncover more than just the crime. One of the most shocking discoveries involve a patient with a dark childhood, which is still haunting him, and a nurse with a secret.
After an exhaustive day, Catherine stops by a bar where she is chatted up by another customer (played by Marg Helgenberger's real-life husband Alan Rosenberg). As she is leaving, he gives her his number on the bar's match box and lashes out when she doesn't want to kiss him. Later on that night, Grissom calls her in for a favor, as he is short on staff. A woman has been murdered and prior to her death, she was seen with the same man who was hitting on Catherine in the same bar. A similar match box with a phone number inside, found on the victim, further points to this man as the main suspect.
Sara and Greg investigate the death of two students in a dorm room. Nick, Warrick and Catherine investigate a man found dead in a 'crop circle'. Ecklie has to find out what happened to the corpse in the case he was working on, when it goes missing.
Grave Danger: Volume 1+
CSI Nick Stokes is kidnapped while investigating a crime scene and buried alive in a glass casket by his kidnapper. The Las Vegas Police Department receives a package with a tape and a USB key which allows them to watch Nick inside the casket, together with a request for one million dollars in cash to release him. The mayor refuses to pay the ransom, but Catherine convinces her wealthy father to provide the money. Gil Grissom schedules a meeting with the criminal to deliver the money and be informed where Nick is.
Grave Danger: Volume 2+
After Grissom gives the kidnapper the ransom money, the kidnapper blows himself up without revealing where Nick is buried. The team must then use all their knowledge and resources, as well as race against time, to find Nick before he runs out of air.
A gardener, outside the house, finds Tony Braun, a known drug addict and old-time Vegas casino mogul face down in his house.
When a young college girl vanishes, apparently with no trace, the CSIs investigate. They find a lot of strange evidentiary odds and ends that point in many directions, but they all turn out to be dead ends.
Grissom finds himself at odds with the Sheriff when he insists on a deeper investigation into what seems to be a suicide at a construction site.
Bully For You+
Nick and Sara cover the case when an Army veteran's badly decomposed body winds up in a bag.
Sara and Warrick are lead by Grissom to investigate an emply apartment found with blood sprayed across the walls.
When a suspect is found burying several bodies, the subsequent investigation by Grissom et. al., appears to be an open and shut case.

While Grissom and Catherine are away, Warrick is put in charge. He and Sara take a case when a con artist, who was involved with Brass's daughter, is murdered.
When a well-known real estate developer is found in an elevator, the CSIs are called to investigate the murder.
You've Got Male+
Grissom and Sara investigate two female bodies found hidden in pipes at a road construction site. They identify the victims as sisters who share a common link: a former prison inmate.
The team once more investigates a crime scene left by serial killer Paul Millander. Probing of the crime scene and the files from his past murders, the team realizes that all the victims shared the same D.O.B.
When a woman is kidnapped, Catherine is ordered by the kidnappers to accompany a man to deliver the million dollar ransom or else the woman will be killed.

When an extra body that doesn't belong there is found at a body farm used for forensic studies of decay, it falls to Grissom to investigate the murder.

After a fight breaks out among the players at an amateur hockey game, the goalie ends up at the bottom of a pile.

In the aftermath of the Holly Gribbs shooting, Captain Brass is demoted and reassigned as a homicide detective, with Gil getting promoted to full head of the CSI unit.
