Season 1 ends in Villanelle’s chic apartment in Paris, where it seemed as though Eve (Sandra Oh) and Villanelle’s simmering mutual attraction/fixation/obsession was finally about to bubble over. And it did, in a way… with Eve stabbing Villanelle in the stomach.
Eve is attempting to rebuild her life having been shot and left for dead in Rome by Villanelle. Villanelle, believing Eve dead, is also moving on.
Eve and Carolyn are reeling. Eve strikes up an unlikely alliance with Kenny’s colleagues at the Bitter Pill.
Villanelle agrees to a job which will take her back to London. Carolyn’s Moscow contacts come in use when Eve and the Bitter Pill team unravel a potential lead to The Twelve.
It’s Eve’s birthday and she’s trying to patch up things with Niko. Villanelle receives good news about her upcoming promotion but can’t shake the feeling that there’s still something missing from her life.
Villanelle returns home to Mother Russia to try to find her family. Perhaps a new connection to her roots will give her back what’s been missing in her life.
As the investigation continues, Carolyn finds out information is being withheld kept by those close to her. Eve finds a lead which might bring her closer to Villanelle.
Carolyn is frustrated with the lack of progress in the investigation and is taking it out on those around her.
Konstantin makes a break for it. Carolyn might have finally found what she’s looking for. Eve and Villanelle try to work out what the future may hold for them.
